My View From Las Vegas

I am struggling right now, and my emotional reserve is at a low point. I went to school today to pick up my son and daughter, Mikey 6 and Olivia 8, and they preferred to stay with their friends and do what they had originally planned. I know they are children, and I tried not to be selfish and feel like I was being intentionally shunned or rejected, but the fact is I am lonely without them. The circumstances are never simple, and there is absolutely no cooperation from their Mom in such a way as to have them understand that their Father loves them and is a good man.
