The Heat Is On
We have a temp. right now outside of about 106, and so we settle into the good old fashion Desert summer here in Las Vegas. Tell you the truth, I do not mind the heat at all, it is usually low on the humidity index, so it is much more bearable than the type of lower temps. higher humidity in many places.
The report of the commission investigating the 9/11 disaster comes out today, it has been released as I write, and it is impossible to imagine what a group of incompetent fools are at the controls in this country. Most people I know take their job much more seriously than the people who are responsible for our security. Sad, but very, very, very true.
