It is coming off the hook. There is seemingly a groundswell of resentment in every corner of this great nation at the fact that this Bush administration has refused to come clean with the American people regarding the truth about the facts as they stood leading up to the start of the Iraq war. The men and women who are there in the service of this great nation and its citizens have no real way of knowing if they are header into another Viet Nam like quagmire. This is a insult to the intelligence of the American people and it will be answered to on election day 2004, when Dubya and his Neo Cons come to the judgement day.
James Dobbins, in his book, America's Role in Nation Building: From Germany to Iraq, sets forth clearly what would be required to make this end game successful. He was a member of the Bush Administration prior to engagement in Iraq. Why was he ignored, and sadly proven right in retrospect?
